KazMunaiGas Exploration Production

KMG EP’s overall production in 2010, including the Company’s share in Kazgermunai (KGM), CCEL and PetroKazakhstan Inc. (PKI) was 13.3 million tonnes.

KazMunaiGas Exploration Production is developing 41 fields in Western Kazakhstan.

KazMunaiGas Exploration Production is one of the largest employers in the area of its operations. The Company employs over 14,000 people.

International agency Standard & Poor’s has awarded KazMunaiGas Exploration Production with GAMMA-6 corporate governance rating and BB+ credit rating. The agency confirmed those ratings in 2010.

Proved and probable reserves of KazMunaiGas Exploration Production are 1.7 billion barrels; and including the share of reserves from associates – about 2.1 billion barrels.

KazMunaiGas Exploration Production is among the top three oil producers in Kazakhstan.

KazMunaiGas Exploration Production has many years’ experience of oil production and has deep knowledge of geological structure of Kazakhstan’s terrain.

Since the IPO in 2006, shareholders of KazMunaiGas Exploration Production received about USD$1.6bn in dividends.

Ordinary and preferred shares of KazMunaiGas Exploration Production are listed on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, and its global depository receipts (GRDs) are listed on the London Stock Exchange.
